Our specialists perform thermal performance calculations for various types of building structures that directly affect the overall energy efficiency of a building. Each type of structure has its own specific features, which is why we apply appropriate methodologies and standards to obtain accurate and reliable results:
- For windows and doors, we use the method defined by DSTU EN ISO 10077-2:2022 “Thermal performance of windows, doors and shutters. Calculation of thermal transmittance. Part 2: Numerical method for frame calculation” (EN ISO 10077-2:2017, IDT; ISO 10077-2:2017, IDT). The simulation takes into account all component elements: profile geometry, frame materials, insulating glass unit, and spacer bar, which allows for precise and reliable results.
- For curtain wall systems, we use the method defined by DSTU EN ISO 12631:2022 “Thermal performance of curtain walls. Calculation of thermal transmittance” (EN ISO 12631:2017, IDT; ISO 12631:2017, IDT).
This calculation enables an objective assessment of the thermal insulation properties of external walls, which is especially relevant for modern multilayer façade systems where it is necessary to consider the influence of structural elements, fasteners, ventilation gaps, etc.
- For industrial and commercial doors, we use the method defined by DSTU EN 12428:2022 “Industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates. Thermal transmittance. Requirements for calculation” (EN 12428:2013, IDT). This standard defines the calculation methodology for the thermal transmittance of enclosing elements used under high operational loads, particularly in logistics centers, workshops, warehouses, and garages.
Examples of obtained results:

Each calculation is performed individually, taking into account the specifics of the structure, climatic conditions, and project requirements. This allows for optimization of the solution in terms of energy efficiency, comfort, and economic feasibility.
