Our testing laboratory carries out comprehensive studies of bulk construction materials in accordance with current Ukrainian and European standards. We verify the physical, mechanical, and chemical characteristics that determine the quality of materials and their suitability for various types of construction work.
Sand is tested according to the requirements of DSTU B V.2.7-32-95. We determine:
- Granulometric composition (particle size distribution)
- Content of dust, clay, and silt particles
- Moisture content
- Grain density and bulk density
- Fineness modulus
- Presence of organic impurities
High-quality sand ensures the proper proportioning of components in concrete and mortar mixtures, which directly influences their strength and durability.
Crushed stone, gravel, and their mixtures are tested according to DSTU B V.2.7-75-98 and DSTU 9177-2:2022. We examine:
- Grain (granulometric) composition
- Content of dust and clay particles
- Flakiness (content of plate-like and needle-shaped particles)
- Abrasion resistance
- Frost resistance
- Water absorption and density
- Presence of harmful impurities
The quality of crushed stone and gravel determines the strength of road surfaces, concrete, and reinforced concrete structures.
