We conduct comprehensive testing of paint and coating products to assess their physical and chemical properties, reliability, and compliance with current standards. Such studies allow us to determine how resistant a coating will be to mechanical, chemical, and atmospheric influences, how well it adheres to surfaces, and how it maintains its appearance over time.
During testing according to European standards, the following parameters are determined:
- Content of non-volatile substances
- Density
- Volume fraction of non-volatile substances
- Drying time
- Contrast ratio of paints, coverage
- Water vapor permeability
- Gloss
- Maximum particle size (graininess, degree of grinding)
- Film thickness
- Water permeability
- Film elasticity during bending
- Flow time, conditional viscosity
- Heat resistance
- pH level
- Resistance to liquids
- Adhesion of the coating, resistance to peeling
- Resistance to wet abrasion
Based on the test results, classification is carried out according to standards harmonized with European norms. These classes must be indicated by the manufacturer in the product’s quality documentation or the declaration of conformity.
